Pitch Party as Promised!

Nikki walked through the trong of people, very happy for the outcome of her party. People were dancing and drinking and just having a great time

It was hard not to watch Harry out of the corner of his eye as they made their way to the party, but Seamus managed it, dragging up the last dregs of his self control and putting up an admirable effort.

Harry seemed happy, and that was enough to keep the grin on his face real and unpretentious, although he was careful to try and not leave any lingering touches that he'd been getting used to- when had that happened after all and-

"So you sure this party's going to be worth the trip mate?"

"What, you doubt me now? When did you start that?" he teased, grinning at Seamus and nudging his shoulder into him.

"Promise it'll be worth it. Besides, I told Nikki we'd come and she'll pout if I don't show," he added half-jokingly.

"Oh, The Pout," Seamus repeated dramatically, intentionally capitalising the words. "Females worst weapon against manly men, using their treacherous wiles to- Hey Harry? It's okay, mate. I understand," he said, patting the other boy's shoulder briefly.

"Not everyone can resist a girl's pout. There's no shame-" he tried to go on, but was starting to laugh too much to continue.

"You are such a-...whatever," Harry said, shrugging his shoulder away from the pats and trying to look offended although he was finding it too hard to keep from grinning while Seamus was laughing like that.

"You just wait. I'll make her pout at you sometime and we'll see how you do," he threatened, finally turning his eyes back to watch Seamus with amusement...and something much stronger mingled inside.
