It felt like her last few days at Hogwarts were taking forever. Normally she loved having hardly anything to do but her Mondays were suddenly free with Fred gone. And her nights were now free with George gone. Allie was off being Allie and Nikki knew better than chase after her

Parvati was wlaking down the hallway when she saw Nikki lying on the ground.

Being careful not to slip herself, she managed to get to the girl. She had already slipped on the ice yesterday.

"Nikki! Are you okay?" she asked the older girl, holding out her hands so Nikki could grab them. She wondered when the ice would go away.

"No," she pouted, grabbing Parvati's hands.

"I miss George."

It was so simple and so innocent that anyone would have never believed it came from a seventeen year old's mouth. But that was who Nikki was - innocent.

Parvati helped pull the girl to her feet.

"You'd think they would let people say good-bye to them, but it's so typically them do to something like this," she said, gesturing to the ice.

Nikki frowned, nodding. The ice only made her think of the times she would go ice skating with the boys.

"Or at least tell me I have to find a new date to the ball!"
