The strangest thing happened to me at the gas station a few minutes ago..

So I went in, paid, came out.. and this guy is looking at me. No big deal, guys look at people. As I make it to my car, he asks me, "You're old enough to drive?" I answer in the affirmative, and he says, "Wow! How old are you?" I say that I'm 19 and he tells me that I look ( Read more... )

Though, I'd be a bit taken aback at first, I'd be gateful if a complete stranger cared enough to pray for me.

But I do the same thing towards other people; just random people on the bus, the train, on the street (except I do this mentally). Frequently, I might see a little boy, and I'd think "I hope he grows up to be a nice young man, and get married and go to college and become someone big and important~" or, I'd see a random student at school, and I'd wish "I hope she gets good grades this semester~ Not better than me, of course, because I want to be number one, but she can most definitely be right after me! Don't give up~ Do your best~".

But that's just me.

o.O Well . . . at least he seemed good-natured enough. Those sorts of people are okay as long as they don't start criticizing you for anything. Although it would've been nice for him to ask if he could pray for you first, seeing as how he held you up for so long.
