"1 large spoonful of chopped garlic/ginger/onion paste"

Is there a place I can buy garlic/ginger/onion paste already made? I'm lazy. This is Alice in Wonderbread

I've never actually seen it as garlic/ginger/onion paste. My friend, who gave me this recipe, said that she found garlic/ginger paste in an Indian grocery (and then she would add onions), but I've been in Indian groceries, and they didn't have it. A quick Google search shows other recipes with it, so it might be out there somewhere.

So what I do is buy garlic paste and ginger paste. Both of these are somewhat readily available. I've seen garlic paste at Safeway lately. (I've used it in lots of things, when I don't feel like mincing garlic.) Ginger paste is a little harder to find. Indian groceries (or Asian markets) have it, but some other places might, too. Like natural grocery stores, or grocery stores that focus on gourmet items. Or maybe even the Asian section of a regular store.

So then I put in a small spoon of garlic paste, a small spoon of ginger paste, and a small spoon of onion powder. It comes out great.

I just found some garlic ginger paste at an Indian grocery, so it really does exist. The grocery I was at is in Renton, attached to a great vegetarian Indian place called Pabla. So if you want some good food, I'd recommend going there for lunch buffet or for dinner, and then you could pick up some garlic ginger paste, or any of the other ingredients you need, while you're there.
