I went to a rock show last night for Highly Suspect. If you're not familiar with their music then I would describe them as a mixture of hard/alternative rock, with a bit of a blue-sy vibe and a touch of hip hop thrown in here and there. I did a pit once and it was a lot of fun! But thankfully no crowd surfing. Glad you ended up ok!

I think a lot of places don't allow crowd surfing anymore. I think the security was prepared for the members of the band to do it maybe, but then a few from the audience started to do it and security shut that down quick lol. I would rather people crowd surf than start a mosh pit though. I hate moshing!

I was once a mosh girl. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the day, got spit on by Johnny Lydon, bled on by Stiv Bators and gave my lighter to Shane MacGowan. It's the BEST way to be in the music and you captured that perfectly here. Also, props for a funny use of the prompt! Glad you can get out and enjoy yourself like this! Be careful out there!

In my day (how I'm hating that phrase), there were no mosh pits. People went into hysterics over the Beatles, who were protected from the crowd by police. I can't imagine what would have happened if John Lennon would have thrown himself into the crowd. I loved this look at music.
