Da y one... Six matches... and no interest in any of them. Doesn't really help that five of the six live a lot further than 30 miles away  (Vancouver BC???)  and the one who lives closest is a scripture-abiding christian with two young kids. *blinks*

Yeah, I looked into the distance thing. One problem is that they calculate it as the crow flies (although I still think Vancouver is out of range) and the other is that they extend the range a bit. Alrighty then.
As far as the kids thing, there was a part of the questionnaire that asked about kids. I said No. I don't want kids, and I don't want someone with kids. I wonder which part of that they didn't understand?
And the religious thing... I think that was my own fault for I put down that I was willing to date a christian. I just changed that.
At least this is fairly cheap deal. I won't be continuing it after three months (then it will jump from $9.95/month to nearly $30/month). Then maybe I will keep my eye out for match.com specials.

That was my thought on the religion thing too... but yeah. Rose-tinted glasses are now removed. :D
And no, it doesn't seem to be a teaser deal or anything. I only have to be careful and not let it continue after the three months or they will automatically renew the subscription at the more expensive price.
