Saw my doctor today about a feels-like-a-bruise-but-not-a-bruise spot on my chin/jaw that has been there for over a month. He reassured me that it should not effect, nor should it be something caused by the implant in my chin. Thats good. But what is it? He doesn't know. I was reading about wine and it mentioned Gewurztraminer. I'd never heard of it before, but I liked the name so I set out to find some. The local grocery store which sells wine from all over had one bottle from Germany, so I bought that. It's so good! I don't know why there isn't more sold here!

I love Gewurtztraminer too. And I know a very good place in Ribeauvillé (Alsace, France) where they produce it and sell it ! ;)

The store only had one brand of Gewurtztraminer: 2006 Valckenberg Gewurtztraminer Pfalz (which you will probably tell me is a cheap-ass german wine. hehehe) Around here it's mostly pinots and merlots and chardonneys. But I really love this wine! Maybe the specialty wine store on the other side of the city has more...

Although... I'm becoming more and more afraid the GI doc is gonna order a colonoscopy. *cringes*

Well, I really don't think I'm lactose intolerant. I never have any problems after I eat dairy products. In fact, I can't think of any foods which cause specific problems... everything is more of a general nature. (Basically, I've had diarrhea problems for one and a half years now and occational intestinal cramping. I know diarrhea can be a symptom of many different problems... I suppose I would just like to know what's going on; although with my luck, I'll get the usual run around.)
But still, sounds like you've had experience with the colonoscopy thing? Still sounds pretty ucky, although I didn't think they knocked you out. I figured you'd be perfectly awake for the whole thing.
