Just.... yeah.

So for the past week I have been suffering from a really annoying rash on my arms and legs. Spontanous. Mobile. Unidentifiable. No, I didn't go to a doctor. I'm pretty disenchanted when it comes to them and this sort of thing. I've tried all the medications. Nothing helps but cold. Gotta numb the itch with ice packs.  Luckily, it's also basically  ( Read more... )

(((Hugs))))

Ask for Diflucan for the yeast/thrush--one pill--works wonders.
I hope you can find out what is wrong. MY friend Jill has a gluten free diet--it's hard when we go to a restaurant.

Hang in there, sweetie.

Yeah, I've taken that before. Took a lot more than one pill to make it go away. Luckily, the baking soda seems to have worked... and maybe it will help neutralize the icky bacteria through my entire system. I can hope!

I got the results back... and it was normal. No gluten sensitivity, thank god. Even three days of going gluten-free was hell! Especially around the holidays!

Thank you!
*hugs*

I don't know about anything else, but the rash sounds a bit like my daughter's eschema(spelling maybe wrong) save for the fact yours seems to move around a lot more than her's does. anti-itch stuff sometimes helps but I've noticed it gets worse in the winter when she has to bundle up more of sleeps warmer...

Yeah, but it's not eczema. It doesn't look like that. In fact, I could find hardly anything that looks similar, and I looked up rashes on google image search. It looks kinda like the rash that sometimes goes with strep. Occasionally bumpy... red spots and blotches... but one of the lab ladies was nice enough to test me for strep, just in case. That's not it. Honestly, I'm suspecting an obscure food allergy, such as a artifical additive or preservative. This rash doesn't happen very often... once or twice a year. The thanksgiving turkey perhaps? Turkeys are injected with flavor additives that have been known to cause allergic reactions and rashes. It started within 48 hours after eating it, and I brought some home for leftovers. Maybe?
I'm glad anti-itch stuff works on your daughter's rash. There is nothing more frustrating that suffering an itch that has no cure except to freeze yourself. Ugh!

Well they do have allergy tests galore if you feel the desire to put up with them. But at least the thrush is clearing up...even if you do get to play with ice in the not fun way. I hope you're feeling a wee bit better when you get this.
