The bad thing about knowing the actors first before watching any of their works..

is that I can never see them fully as their characters. I would always end up flailing how their characters are so different from their personalities that I just start to fantasize what they're actually thinking or their expressions after each take. I would also end up just spazzing about them and totally ignoring their characters.

Example 1:
Kato Shigeaki

Shige is the resident bokete/genius/half-girl/prodigy of NEWS (except he's the tsundere with Kei-chan), is shy at certain situations, usually talks his mouth off (like a girl with Kei-chan), says his mind and is seriously clumsy. But hello what?! He is currently playing a playboy photographer in Hanawake.

And I had a greatest time of my life laughing at this because THAT IS TOTALLY NOT SHIGE. Oh gawd Shige you must be feeling all manly in that role but once you make a step within any NEWS member's radar, for sure you'd be teased endlessly. I can already hear Tegoshi's high-pitched voice and Ryo-chan's snark and Kei's never-ending blabble.

Example 2:
Nishikido Ryo

Now Ryo-chan as all NEWS and KJ8 fans know can both be extremely quiet and extremely loud whenever he feels like it but also extremely shy. Especially to women and to his senpais. And have I said how he is impossibly why that just connecting eyes with Leah Dizon made him howl and wishing that the sofa would just melt him? But he played the ever famous Oikawa Sousuke in Last Friends where he was seriously a scary DV person punching around poor Michiru.

Geez Ryo-chan I can just imagine how red and how embarassed you must've been playing Oikawa and all. Covering your face, making all those shy noises you make when on the spot and would be stuttering and unable to make a proper sentence. Especially in front of Masami. I also seem to remember a mag trans that Pi teased how he tried his best to court Masami in ProDai but she'll just end up being beaten by Ryo in Last Friends.

Example 3:
Hamao Kyosuke

There is only one word to sum up this guy: ADORABLE. Everything he does is adorable. His smile, the way he talks, the way he laughs, the way he dances, the way he eats, the way he takes pictures, the way he goofs around, everything screams ADORABLE. He's in my opinion kind of soft-spoken and shy around people older than him. But he played hot-blooded Aguri in Tensou Sentai Goseiger (though some losers didn't like him) and he did good.

And most of the time I just literally rolled on my bed and was all giggly because Mao was just so hot as Aguri but then I'll also end up squealing at him being all tough and strong-willed and arrogant and... just... oh Mao in any case you are just so adorable you!

Example 4:
Suzuki Shogo

Shogo who is also adorable in his own way, playful and child-like, has such a cute laugh and smile, can be noisy when he wants to and joins in being dorks when with Cocoa Otoko. Played Tani Chiaki in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger who was lazy, arrogant and rebellious.

I pretty much flailed just as much as how I was flailing with Mao. Though looking at their backstage clips in SSS made me flail even more at how playful Shogo was. And damn those eyebrows of his really put his character into shape. Such a perfect dont-mess-with-me-you-fucker eyebrows. And the way he talks like, idk, its just so badass and all.

Example 5:
Hosogai Kei

Since we're already in the Super Sentai theme, let's not forget Cocoa Otoko's mom! (well in my opinion that is) Kei laughs his ass off at anything he finds funny. He has such a cute smile that any girl (and guy) can fall for. I'm still new to the Cocoa Otoko fandom but all I can say is, he seems to be the most mature out of everyone, especially compared to Kenken. And then he goes and plays Basco in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the flirty evil, arrogant, jerk of a privateer.

So, most of the time I just end up giggling over the fact of "HOSOGAI KEI WEARING EYELINER". Not that I haven't had enough of that from Tenimyu but seriously though, the smirk and being such a good-for-nothing bastard just made me love him so much more its like...I can't even...

Example 6:
Yabu Kota

Yabu is the niisan of Hey! Say! Jump. Everyone loves Yabu. He's responsible, talented, smart and has the most experience in show business in all of the members. Everyone looks up to Yabu as a great senpai and his senpais adore him before when he was a tiny Johnny's Jr and up to now as a guide to Jump. But then he played playboy, idiotic, irresponsible, nonsensical Takayama Mikiya in Ninkyo Helper

But then I only went and flailed over how adorable Yabu looked acting all stupid and like a nutcase and falling head over heels over Meisa's character. Such a cutie he was.

Example 7:
Kamakari Kenta

Now this guy we all know is egotistical in his own way. Very loud, likes to bully just about anyone, all the members see him as the most "yancha" and as Kei said, "subette". I see him as a person who CANNOT just sit still in one place. Its like he's all over the place. Then we see him playing Yukata Mikoto in Princess Princess D and I was like >////<

And gawd Kenken! That was just really... and like...and omfg... I can't even... I seriously wished for a making of for this. Knowing Kenken he'd be all happy and "ghei" wearing those lolita cosplays and I bet he wasn't even at all displeased that he had some sort of BL atmosphere with Nakamura Yuichi and just... He was just so cute and so adorable and so PRETTY! xDDDDD

============================================================

I've got lots of actors in my mind right now to be honest but since these people are on the top of my bias list they deserve the mention.
