Merh.
I'm in one of those 'I WANT TO PLAY SIMS!' moods but can't get motivated.
I think half the reason is because I'm finding playing 'The Ryan Legacy' very unfulfilling and like a chore.
Turns out I hate strict rules. I wrote the rules myself and guess what? I don't even like them!

Grah. I know how you feel :l
The Barnes are in the second generation already, and they still don't have a roof. The only room with four walls is the bathroom.

I think, to be able to stick to such strict rules and have a family that's barely coping, is a very hard thing only few people have the tolerance for. I clearly don't.

[in the chapter coming up] I took my eyes off of Tiffany for one second, [and because of my 'Ambrosia for any meal' hack], she made ambrosia and ate it -______- A few of my sims have been breaking rules behind my back like that too, which is kinda stressful because that means you have to watch them 24/7. It sucks :/

Aww... I'm sorry to hear that! Despite all the chaos in my game, I still find it fun to play the Pemrose's. What will happen with the battle community? Are we still competing?

Anyways, I'm not sure which child is which, so I voted off of which name I liked best-and that turned out to be Piper. I hope she's not a blonde one. :) Anyways, I will still read either of the legacies you post. ANY LEGACY!

I just thought of something! You could have the Jaxie heiress marry one of the Ryan boys (Blixtie?) and move them onto an empty lot with Cupcake! :D

I'll probably end up doing that now that you've mentioned it, cos now that Blixie's aged up into a teen he's fine as hell ;D

Piper has black hair, Quinn and Macenzie have blonde, so good choosing ;D I aged them all up in CAS this morning to see what they'd look like, and Piper was the best in my opinion anyway. I'm hoping she'll win :)

Oh, and with the battle community, it will remain as is. I'll post my finishing score on there with a tally, and I'll still keep an eye on it. I think it's probably more fair that I'm not competeing in it seeing as I wrote the rules and what not, but it's good that other people are getting enjoyment out of something I've come up with :D

I voted Piper :) Personally I love the idea of reloading the Jaxie's (with Cupcake of course) on an empty lot. I think you'd probably have more fun with them and find a small amount of challenge in it. I still say adding more viewer input creates the greatest amount of unknowns, or at least it has for me lol. It's like you can't plan ANYTHING, so it keeps you on your toes. You might try it a generation and see if it does the same for you. I think either way you put it.....everyone will still enjoy reading it :). And maybe you can ad one rule a generation that you have to follow....OH here's a good one, put in 3 rules that viewers could pick from and have them vote. Then for that generation, whatever the rule is, you have to follow that one rule until the next generation. It could get really interesting depending on what you put up lol!

Let's see, here are a couple of suggestions
No hired help (this includes the fire and police department).
Everyone in the household must master the same skill.
The family has to go to a game or a movie once a week.
Can't purchase anything new for the generation (I wouldn't recommend that one for the first or second lol).
Everything you purchase for the generation must be dyed a horrible color (can be changed after the generation but just imagine the whining that could be had about a totally pink room lol).
Those are just a few but I'm sure you can think of tons more. :) I think it should help you keep your interest and challenge you big time if only for a short while lol!
