New digs, new town, new quirks.

So... I'm in Kansas now. My mom and I moved me up here last Wednesday and because we are clearly strong women who don't need to hire people to carry furniture up a narrowing staircase with a turn, we did all the carrying. And we did it within 8 hours. Clearly we are gluttons for punishment

I'm impressed! Me and my mom would never be able to accomplish that much. (We're badasses, but Mom has a bad back. Like REALLY bad. Like the chiropractors asked if she was trampled on by a giant as a child.)

I miss you too! That continues to be the hardest part about living in Memphis. Sometimes it even bums Chris out! Which is sad. But I wish you all the bestest friends you could ever find in Kansas (who will still not be as good as me, but they can try).

I really didn't think my mom and I could do it so quickly but we did, and while we were rather sore, we felt really good about getting it DONE.
