My only problem is when /other/ people tag me in a photo or post other such information. As I don't have a facebook account, there's nothing I can do but try and ask them to remove that.
Yeah, but you can tag people on most major photo/networking sites. When it comes to that, you need to make sure your friends know you don't wanna be tagged. That's more of an interpersonal privacy thing relating to photos.
*chuckles* yes, but most photo/networking sites don't have nearly everyone I went to school with but lost touch with ten years ago. These aren't friends but people I knew once. I think that's the difference.
Well, that, and the stress on using one's real name in Facebook vs. the others.
yeah, I s'ppose, but then again, people /shouldn't/ be uploading images of you unless they have your permission, technically. Either way, the photo tagging thing isn't what people have been worried about, it's more about personal info, like phone,e-mail, address, etc, getting out, which has happened because people don't set their privacy settings right.
