... sketchdump?

Jun 30, 2007 03:10

Well, I've been out the whole drawing-for-myself loop lately... so as a vow to not let what skills I may have sag over the summer, I've started carrying my sketchbook around again. As if I really stopped carrying it around before... but now, at least, I'm trying to make use of it.

And, seeing as though tonight was, as Friday nights tend to be, really slow at work (between frame shipments + caught up on framing orders + a dead mall = boredom), I finally made some progress.
Heh. And who knows if it's still the lingering want to start that comic or what... but old characters keep coming back to me. =/

My Danté finally made a re-appearance, much to my surprise and delight. Haven't drawn that guy in forever. :P Same with Chrys and Aynjil... and, uh, don't mind the other dude. Was trying out poses, and though the anatomy off, I still think it's interesting. *chuckle*

So, after I arrived home from the place of employment, I had the urge to root through the sketchbook I kept during the school year, and therein stumbled upon some amusing things.

This guy look familiar to anyone? Haha, finally decided to ditch his glasses...
I don't know what was up with my style at that point, but it's interesting, to say the least. I like drawing in blue. ^^

Luckis (Zéro) decided to show up not long after Kain for yet another costume tweak. I dont think I've drawn this guy fully... since high school. 0.o Woah.
Nobody make any snide comments on where his katana happens to be placed... ><

Results of a reoccuring DMC kick. :P The Trish was a random sketch I doodled during a critique... which I later got frustrated with, and decided to mock myself for the pose I put her in.
The Dante... I'm not entirely sure what to say about. Aside from that it seems as though even demon-slayers need naps, too. :) Not entirely sure how comfortable that one arm could be, though...

Ah, that's all I can find for now that's show-worthy. Perhaps more will show up at a later date.
