I really like the (brown micron?) lines, they separate him from the background nicely. Is there a story behind the background? I'm getting a nice "Nil: A Land Beyond Belief!" vibe from it. (Awesome graphic novel, you should read it.)
Most artists I've seen who draw horse anthros shorten the calves a bit, but the way you've drawn him does give him long legs, befitting a horse. :P
