I'm feeling a bit better about life today. I ran away to Indianapolis for the past two days. Chicago was giving me heavy anxiety. It was a nice little impromptu trip. The fiance and I have broken up. It's a mess, and though I feel horrible, I know it's for the best. No one understands, and even when I tell them the reasonings they think I'm making a mistake. Wedding stuffs!
We put together our wedding budget today..and we decided on a budget of $11-$12 grand. I know it may seem excessive to some, but considering our hall alone is a little over $8 grand, it's really not that bad. Reception Hall down...
Fiance and I checked out two reception halls today. They were the original two that we had our hearts set on looking at.. and what do you know? We picked one! The Patrician. It just felt right the moment we walked in the place. It's a little more pricey than the other hall we looked at, but I think we're going to enjoy ourselves more at this hall. ( Read more... ) -

Blizzard 2011!
Yesterday the entire city of Chicago left work early. My boss let us leave at 3:30 pm. The L train was super packed! Normally, there is hardly anyone on there around that time. A life changing month!
Before I get into the depth of this post I have an announcement. Mikey proposed to me last Friday, and of course, I accepted. We are planning on getting married on Sept. 29th, 2012! I've been extremely busy as of lately so I haven't really had the time for updates.

Friendship Chinese..
Chinese places all over the place in the city, but it's really hard to find that one that stands apart from the rest. We just ordered dinner from Friendship Chinese. According to a friend, they have really good food. The prices were just shy of being outrageous, so I'm hoping this is the best Chinese food ever ( Read more... )
