When I saw you guys in Pittsburgh I was going through what you're going through right now. Then I decided that I didn't care anymore and that if I needed to find a new job, so be it.
Job has never run life before, but it was very, very close in the past year. All changed as of July 4, and I'm much happier now. My co-worker Stacey and I have a mantra - at half speed we'll still work circles around most other people. We'll never get fired. Adopt that attitude, and you'll feel much better.
And get out of NYC. You know it's not where you're supposed to be. Once Kate finishes up, pack it up and hit the road. Or decide to stay. Either way, you can't live in mid-world-land, you'll drive yourself crazynuts.
