Yeah, so I saw that "i, Robot"

Which was actually pretty fucking crazy, although it was slightly annoying because this "crowd" next to us was all like... "Ooooo ahhhhhh" When Will Smith was in his Trouser Shorts. But oh well. Will Smith is basically this racist-against-robots dude it's pretty funny actually. I'll give it a 3.2 (Above Average) but now I have to read that book.

I dunno, I've only seen the previews but here's my review....

If it took place in an interogation room the entire time the premise would be amazing, otherwise it's just a standard Will Smith sci-fi action movie.

Wheee, I can pretty much say that I'm right in my assumptions. Because... well the preview gives away the whole God damned movie.

I also dunno how the movie fits in with that authors view of robots because... he's all about how robots wouldn't attack people because we would put three directives against it.

Like, 1. Never Hurt a Human, 2. Always obey a human unless it interferes with directive #1 and I forgot the third. But yeah.

The whole focus of Asimov's Robot series was to chronicle how the robots could malfunction and become sentient with human emotions, usually through the lens of the Robot Psychologist, who came around halfway through the mythology and was re-written into some of the earlier works. Same focus as the movie, from what the reviews say... and maybe they didn't bastardize the original work too much, anyway. I want to see the movie, just because Alex Proyas directs it.
