Wow, it's been over a year since my last entry?!?! Lets see if I can get back into the swing of it.

Nothing much changed to be honest. Lovelife is non existing and work still sucks big time. BUT... at least that last part is hopefully about to change. After 16 years and at least half of it being miserable at my workplace I finally quit. And the ( Read more... )

WELL DONE! I understand you, I was stuck 13 years in a company that was sucking life out of me, until I took your same decision. We only live once, and we don't have to waste our life in a toxic environment that makes us unhappy. Yes, money is necessary, but if work is killing us slowly then all the money we get from it is pointless.

Well done on closing this door, you need to make room for new and better opportunities <3

It's shocking how many people are stuck like that. It's so sad. But I'm really working on myself lately. So it won't happen again.

That is a (too) long time to be miserable. I'm sure you already felt it in various ways already but it would have been even worse eventually,I'm sure of that,so therefore I too think that you made the right decision. It was a gutsy move but I will cross all my fingers for you that it will all work out and you'll soon find something that makes you happy :)

I know, right. But when you are in the situation you don't even realize just how long it has been. And it hasn't all been bad. And that was the problem. The goodtimes lulled me in and make me overlook some of the bad things. On the plus side. It made me the person that I am today.
