This must be why the Republicans are still in office:

If Americans are indeed being eavesdropped on and Arab-Americans have been "yanked" out of airport lines, their stories would have been on the front-page of every major newspaper in the country. Show me the headlines!

Was that an editorial in you local newspaper? I love getting newspapers from all sorts of places to read the editorials. You really get the feel of the area.
I just hope who ever wrote that one doesn't vote. Or maybe that's the problem?

No, this was the entirety of a letter to the editor. The naivete (to put it charitably) of this comment is awe-inspiring. Only God could create something this vast.

Incidentally, anytime you want to check out the St. Louis Post, the URL to it is www.stltoday.com. They publish the editorials and letters to the editor daily.

Thanks for the link. And the editorials I like to read the most are the ones that go completely against my grain. I guess it's my version of "word coffee". I get all riled up and amuse Stan with my diatribe.
That one was a doozy I must say.
