Lol, I fear I just got spoiled on potential endings (but as this didn't have spoiler warnings on it, I'll keep an open mind, in case Balthier still gets run through with a blade or something.) ;)

Anyway, this was very enjoyable. Your fist paragraph is a smash hit, and all the little things about Fran and Balthier just add to it. ^^

Lol, I think you might have just made a Fran/Balthier fan, yes. ^^ (I'm not far enough into the game to know, as it is, I still keep dying trying to escape the palace ^^; - but then I'm still a starting gamer, so I can be lame.)

Haha, yes, I could tell it must be some leftover frustration against a certain mark, but that's part of what made it funny.

Ah, good, no spoilers - I'm relieved. I admit, I was already surprised: this being an FF game, I keep expecting some of the main characters to die. (Mind you, I only know of VII and X atm so I could be wrong.)

So, any plans for a next drabble? Looking forward to it!

Still at the palace? Wow, you're not that far along, now, are you? Ah, yes. FFX. I was angry. But then I played X-2 and felt better. Kinda. My sister and I have this theory- square-enix likes killing the happy-go-lucky non emo characters. aka Tidus, Aerith, Zack... the only reason Sora isn't dead is cause he's half disney.

I have quite a bit of other stuffs on my ff.net account, although i think all my other ffxii stuffs have spoilers in them. At least somewhat. XD I've had plans for more for a while, but I'm soooo lazy and can never find motivation to write.
