I had this ex-girlfriend. And it was a seriously angsty kind of thing, in an in-your-20s and punk-gothic sort of emotional overload. And her birthday was October 21st.

All day yesterday, I'm thinking I'm missing something, but I figured it was some blast out of the past, because seriously, this was half a lifetime ago, and why is it nagging me now?

So, I'm sorry, because I knew your birthday was coming up, but it got eclipsed by dumb past coincidence and trivia.

I hope you're well. I miss the "old days" of LJ when we were all so instantaneously in each other's lives without worrying about jobs and toddlers busting their lips and all the real world stuff that gets in the way of long distance friendships.
