Character
Name: Cloud Strife
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Time Period: right after he disappears with Sephiroth in KH2.
Wing Color: the left wing is midnight blue; the right is closer to a dark gray, though some blue coloring is still noticeable.
History:
http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Cloud_Strife Personality: Cloud is a very reserved person, blunt and to the point when he does speak. This doesn’t mean he hates being around people; in fact, he dislikes being completely alone. He’s not used to being close to others, though, and he’s probably at his most comfortable when he’s alone in a group of people, able to watch and listen to their interactions without being dragged into things.
The most noticeable part of his personality is his single-minded view towards defeating Sephiroth. He’s an avoider in some ways; by focusing on the physical manifestation on his darkness, he can think a little less about where the darkness stems from, something he feels helpless over.
Strengths: Cloud is not just a capable fighter; he takes pride in his fighting ability. This is demonstrated by the fact that he can go head-to-head with Sephiroth, one of the most difficult bosses in both KH games, and when he jokes with Leon when surrounded by Heartless “might be tough if one more shows up” and “what, you’re fighting too?” This also shows that he can distract himself from a stressful situation and not let the tension overwhelm him as long as a certain silver-haired man isn’t involved.
He’s a dedicated person; he knows what he wants and he pursues it. Flip-flopping usually isn’t a problem with him.
Also, he’s got a poker face Vincent would be proud of if he was in the KH universe.
Weaknesses: Never, ever, ever ask KH!Cloud for a lesson on morality. We’re introduced to him in Kingdom Hearts when he’s discussing a contract to kill a stranger. Enough said.
He’s driven to the point of wearing blinders; once his Sephiroth is involved, anything else about the situation is forgotten, including his childhood friends, and he becomes more emotional.
Besides his confidence in his skill as a warrior, he has a very low self-esteem, which is probably in some part due to his childhood and reserved nature, but mostly stems from his darkness manifesting as Sephiroth, a danger that he himself can barely fend off. Despite his wholehearted pursuit of Sephiroth, he still sees himself a bit as a time bomb: one day he’ll go off, and it’s better if no one he cares about is around when that happens.
As a final note, he probably thinks “tact” is an illegal tic-tac-toe maneuver. This boy is not good with socializing, even with those he considers friends, and tends to bottle things up.

Q&A: 1. What is your greatest fear?
I have to settle things with Sephiroth before the others get hurt.
2. If there is one thing about yourself that you could change, what would it be?
…It’s pointless. If I could change them, I would. I won’t dwell on the things I can’t.
3. Is it better to have loved and lost, or to have never loved at all?
I’ve never loved someone. I’m fine keeping it that way.
4. If you had to choose between saving someone else's life and saving yours, which would you pick? Why?
Who’s the other person?
Tifa or Sora would say “someone else”. Maybe if it was as simple as just dying.
…When it comes down to it, I’d probably pick myself. That’s how I am.
5. Has there ever been a time in your life when you questioned your motives or morals? If so, what was it?
Sephiroth works by picking apart motives.
…I was impressed in the coliseum. Hercules didn’t have a reason to save me.
Third Person: Light. He felt light. He’d been fighting Sephiroth again, as he had so many times, and his muscles felt pinched and stiff as he stood, like they’d been tense too long. Probably had. One of the last things he remembered was Tifa’s face, her expression tight with determination as she gave him her light so he could fight his own darkness. He’d charged at Sephiroth, and in a flash, he’d-
Fallen headlong into a strange forest, his enemy nowhere in sight amongst the thick trees, the only sign of civilization the…book that just happened to be there.
Good job, Cloud. So much for settling things. And though his friend had given him her own light, the only reason he felt unburdened was because he had nothing on him, nothing but a pair of cotton pants he knew he hadn’t been wearing before. Which meant someone had both stripped and redressed him while he was unconscious. The invasion of privacy was making him itch to have First Tsurugi back in his hand already, and he quickly decided that retrieving his weapon was first priority.
Second was finding Sephiroth. His enemy hadn’t taken advantage of his vulnerability, which meant…most likely, either Sephiroth had fallen into the same dilemma (which would have been laughable, if Cloud were in a laughing mood) or he’d decided to force Cloud into another hunt. It figured this would happen, just when Tifa had put herself on the line to help him…he’d completely wasted the chance. The blond huffed in aggravation, crossing his arms across his bare chest, ruffling his win-
Except he’d lost his wing a year ago. Sephiroth had taken it-
He looked over his left shoulder, bemused by the strange sight; it was a feathered wing, smaller than the leathery wing he had once been accustomed to but the same shade of midnight blue. And as he twitched and stretched the limb, he became aware of its twin on the other side, which almost appeared to be greying.
Cloud closed his eyes and tried to focus. Priorities. The wings were sore, but that was a relatively small setback. He needed his sword back-there was little he could do unarmed. Then he needed to find Sephiroth. Hopefully, he’d find more clothing along the way; he was so used to heavy garments that the cotton pants might as well not have been there. …Not that he wasn’t glad for something to cover his nudity. The book was picked up almost as an afterthought, rummaged through for any clues as he walked. He needed any information he could get about this new world.
