So my not-so-awesome JTE at the deaf school told me when i arrived that the current textbook that the kids had been using for half their academic year was too difficult, so, after first suggesting that i "wing it" (with no idea of the kids' level or what they had already studied), she pulled out an old Geos textbook (adult English school) and told
