Oh thank you W! I fear I'll need quite a bit, I'm now two days behind and my perfectionist inner editor is having a fit -- but I hope it'll all straighten itself out in the end. I'm really getting that Sims urge lately so I am looking forward to uni-free days :)
Speaking of uni, how are you faring? Did you manage to settle in? :)
I must admit that I've not yet uncovered all the mysteries that there are to the Paradigms book -- but basically it holds all the conjugations of nouns, verbs, articles, pronouns, numerals... well, everything in the Old-Irish language. So it's perfect for looking up endings if you know where to find them. I have mostly been using the sections on the copula (verb 'to be') and the conjugated prepositions (prepositions with suffixed pronouns) so far. While translating, the little words that you can't find in the glossary are often one of those!
Thank you! :) Aww, how sweet that little Fluffy does the same thing! There is something so irresistible about papers, folders or piles of ironed laundry :) Our cats are especially drawn to anything that is or has just been the centre of attention. "This is an important letter, because the humans have just been reading it. I must go sit on it! :D"
Somehow I'm making time for NaNoWriMo this year. I'm at 10,914 words so far (which is on track minus what I need to write for today. That'll put me at almost 12,600). Personally I'm not worried about the quality of my novel (I could never write a good novel under this kind of deadline, I'm too much of a perfectionist!), I'm just trying to get my creative juices flowing.
Oh great :) I don't know many people who are also partaking in this writing frenzy, so hearing from another is nice! It sounds like you are right on track (congratulations ;) ), I'd love to hear what you are writing about if you'd like to share. Getting the creative juices flowing is a very good thing. If that is what I can get out of this month, I would be well pleased! I'm trying to put my mind in that line of thought :) This novel is really just for myself, and if I happen to like positive situations where people are happy and cosy then that's what I'll write! (I started out really well but a few days ago I began to worry about my novel not having enough conflict -- stop that, brain. focus on writing please. -- besides it's absolutely not like everything is rainbows and bunnies in my novel world, I just need to stop worrying :D)
Thank you for the luck wishes and I hope you will succeed too!
