That has to be one of the best well-wishes I've ever heard. I hope you receive all those lovely things as well. :DD

Those sound like really great resolutions. Good luck with everything!

To give threefold is to receive sevenfold, in this case! ^__^

Thank you for the luck :D

Happy new year nimi! Here's to a great 2012 for all of us - maybe the dreaded end of the Mayan calendar will mean a new awakening? ;)

Those are good sim resolutions, too. My only sim resolution for 2012 is to NOT start anything over (AGAIN), but to work on what I've got. :)

Happy New Year to you, too! ^_^

As for the new awakening... I do hope so. ;) The earth could certainly use it. But in the end I think we're the ones responsible for our own lives, and if we want to take that new turn, we're the ones who will have to wake up.

Haha! That is a really good resolution :D I think it will be very rewarding if you stick with it. :)

Oh, #9. :D

I think 2012 will be interesting, too. Every year, it turns out that the only resolution I really stick to (I try to accomplish all my goals, but some are more difficult than others) is making the year memorable. That's all I really want from a new year - a fresh start at something interesting.

It started with 2010, and ever since, my life has gotten progressively more interesting. So I hope yours does, too - and more rewarding, because I personally can never have enough of that!

Yes :D I'll reply to your pm soon, too. ;)

That is a lovely thought! And it makes all kinds of sense. The underlying motivation for resolutions is of course (aside from making your life better) making the year stand out in a positive way. All those goals are really just the means to that :)

Glad to hear that it really works for you. I can really imagine that happening. (And I think that's also partly how resolutions work: if you resolve to do something and really mean it and intend it, everything will strife to make that happen.)
2011 worked in a similar way for me: I put out resolutions, mostly revolving around my education, which were reasonably attainable but still looking very challenging at the start of the year. But I nailed them all -- making the year 2011 very memorable and also rewarding in the process!
I'm already looking forward to what will happen this year, and I hope your year will be even more rewarding than the two before it ^_^

Thank you, dear Selena. I hope I could make you feel at least a little of that warmth. Your observations are always so intelligent and knowing and I wish you the best, hoping that you'll continue to be a positive force. <3

You are the sweetest! I am so, so glad I've inspired you with this post -- I was really hoping it would not go by unnoticed or not understood, as I think this is really the integral solution to any problem... The only way to change things (or people) is through love, and it took me a while to fully realise this (and I still am learning), but I think the world would change tremendously if we all knew this and lived it.
Happy New Year, dear Aija :) <3
