It's so so lovely! Hurray for new computers and proper graphics :D
I'm so jealous you went to Sweden, I want to holiday up North as well ^^ I'd probably pick Norway, maybe go somewhere to try and see the northern lights...
Oh thank you so much! I am so happy with the graphics -- I haven't even checked it yet but I really hope (and expect) to be able to play with the shaders on for more pretty effects and water reflections from lots :)
I would love to visit Norway as well! The Nordic countries are so inspiring. I recently looked through pictures my mother took in Norway before I was born; and the little towns along the water were so pretty and inspiring (much like the pictures of towns you post on tumblr) and the mountains inspired me especially because they looked very much like the TS2 texture! ^^ Norway strikes me as rougher and edgier, which is also beautiful but I think I already fell in love with the clean and soft (though still very rocky) Swedish landscape, too :) Oh, and the northern lights... *dreams* Also imagine all the stars you will be able to see, far away from civilisation.
I agree with pretty much everything you said :D I'd totally move there if it wasn't so freezing cold all the time. I'm already pretty chilly in this little frog country...
Do you call Belgium a frog country as well? Funny, we say the same about the Netherlands. ;) *imagines two frogs sitting side by side complaining about the weather* Ahem.
Apparently the temperature can go down lower there before it feels as cold as it does here... I don't know exactly how it works (humidity?) but I do remember it feeling warmer than I was used to with the same temperature back home. (Of course then there is the looong winter with constant snow, which can also be depressing.)
Secretly I'm dreaming about moving there one day... But that's far away in the future, who knows what'll happen. The UK seems to me to be even more chilly and rainy, though!
Thank you so much! The water reflection is my very favourite thing of the neighbourhood view and I am so happy to have it back ^_^ ...those pine trees I am quite partial to, as well, so I like having the water reflect them -- it's as if there are twice more than there actually are! ;)
Yay indeed! I've missed having a good gaming computer but I confess I'm not really used to using it yet; perhaps I should turn it on more often ;) Thank you for the compliment on the neighbourhood! And now I am curious as to your neighbourhoods (other than zoomed in on the inhabitants), have you ever shared pictures? I think they must be really pretty as well. :)
Perhaps you should and then take pictures and post them! ;D
I have not really shared many pictures of my hoods. I'm not often all that happy with them or I tend to just decorate around houses and community lots, leaving the rest bare. :P
