here's a  new illustration. it's probably going to be used as a promo piece, so the right version has text on it to show some layout. not that i would ever be doing layout, but it's nice to give a feel.

is a suuuper amazing typeface aggregator for fontophiles alike. :) it's separated by country-- there are tons of amazing free fonts there for both pc and mac!

not that long. maybe 4 hours? tops. some pieces take longer than others. sometimes i go through 5 pieces of paper and 3 days before i'm satsfied but sometimes, like in this case, it just falls into place in one go.

Wow, I am very impressed. I remember in high school, you're such a studious student. You were good in all of the hard subjects, but I never knew that you're talented in arts. Did that happen after highschool or I just didn't know you well enough?

it was always something i did, actually, quite seriously, but it wasn't something i did in school ever. it was more of a home-based endeavor. :) i never took art classes once i didn't have to. i don't think i was as studious as you think i was either. ;-) i just did what i could do.
