    It's probably weird that whenever i see "HP" now I think Harry Potter despite the fact that it's a picture with laptops on it and clearly a Hewitt-Packard ad, right

oh, thank you. I've been lucky so far because I don't do a lot of web "browsing" and only visit my regular pages and all my lj friends are very good about warning of spoilers or cutting them behind links.

I'm not sure how weird it is- I bought a magazine today that was apparently a "Special HP Issue" and I felt weird carrying around it public, for fear that people would think that I bought into the HP craze. (I haven't- only read one book.) I almost wanted to take the cover off so that I wouldn't be associated with HP-mania.

I'm pretty sure nobody would think you were part of the mania unless you were buying one of the many books that have sprung up because of harry potter, like theories on book 7 or whatnot, or wearing a red and gold scarf.
