Crunk and Sudoku are culturally Ginormous
So "ginormous" is now an official word in Webster's dictionary. I wonder if "fantabulous" is in there as one of the new 100 too or if I'll have to wait a couple more years for that to show up. Today I did a fun piece based on those snails in the last illustration I did. I must admit I was thinking of my little sister the whole time and kind of catered it to her. well, i'm bummed. i was informed by a fellow watcher last week that GIlmore Girls is ending in two more episodes. in a way, i'm glad because it really has taken a turn for the worse in the last two seasons and i would want it to end with some diginity. as it is now, it's still a show worth seeing and i would hate to see it end up like... i don't ( Read more... ) -
Math Debater
so last night on fnx, Keith's Stupid Game was "the Math Debater" with the appropriate and disturbing intro of sexual turn-ons by numbers that goes with it. Anyway, it's a game where they give you a math problem to solve and the guy who gets it first and calls in wins. I think it's a pretty cool idea. It honors us nerds ( Read more... ) -

yay! words!

another painting, finished yesterday. it's small but it took longer than Cranes just because the small amount of background painting took a lot longer to do than the basic wash of sky on Cranes. first it was salt washed- you can see some bits of white "crystal" shaped flecks, then there was "tie-dye" wet on wet added in, and then finally the black ( Read more... )
