Is it just me or is the writing in Doctor Who getting more and more like the writing in its spin-offs? The plot of this episode could have very easily been the plot of a Sarah Jane episode. I'm not sure what that means for the show, but it strikes me as far more juvenile than what I'm used to. (I am aware that this was originally intended to be a children's show. It's still more mature than SJA.)
I'm not going to touch the Ghost of Rose with a ten foot long pole.
The scene between Donna and the Doctor having a silent conversation through two windows made me cringe.
Sigh. After the clusterfuck that was last season's finale, I was kind of hoping they could pick up the quality of the writing a bit.
