2005 has been a blur of depression, boredom and self hatred intersperced with small bits of happiness. I can't remember really anything painfully memorable that 2005 brought me except another year of skating on the thin ice of human existance. The only good news is that I have got really great grades this year(a 3.92 for this semiester). My life

I feel you...nothing is scarier than the real world. Where is St. John's? Also, grad school is sort of a nightmare. This is my second time through it (once at Syracuse University and now at Arizona State University) and I'm still not sure why I'm here. But I felt comforted reading your journal...knowing I'm not the only one who felt like 2005 was a waste. I'll be 24 this year and I'm still at a loss...
