Today is not a good day. Monday was good. Massage and acupuncture then made it to the pool. Didn't get any laps in because there weren't any lap lanes available due to water aerobics so did 15 minutes of a shallow water class then an hour deep water class. Milestone this week is having decreased from 3 PT visits/wk to only 2! Tuesdays and Thursdays, in anticipation of maybe going back to work next Friday (then Tues/Wed/Thursdays will be my days off so PT appts can continue apace...aside from Thanksgiving so that week will be PT on Tues and Wed ( Read more... )

First, that steroid injection. It stopped hurting after that first day (yay) but I also haven't felt a demonstrable improvement in the hip joint. PT says the range of motion is better, so I'll call that good though far short of miraculous. The demonstrable effects have been more in the "side effect" classification. I have developed a terrible habit of overextending myself after driving mom to the airport. Last time I ran too many errands, a mistake I of course repeated today.
