help please!!!!

ok, i know that there is a way of putting peoples lj name so it links to their profile, and also a way of uploading pics into the journal, but i cant' find the info on how to do it.

Could someone please help me out and explain (preferably in little words that i can understand ;o) ) how to do it??

when you go to update your journal, there is the empty rectangle where you type. underneath that box it will tell you "(HTML okay; by default, new lines will be auto-formatted to
- or, use the rich text mode.)"

make sure that you click the rich text mode. you'll know you're in rich text mode because that box where you type will have different buttons on the top that lets you format your entry. a lot of the buttons are the same that you'll see in MS Word or most other word processing programs.

the button that looks like a picture -- click it and it'll lead you through uploading a picture -- you can either upload it from your computer or give a web address for the picture and it'll pull the image from that site.

there is a button that looks like the little livejournal icon (the lil blue shirted person) -- click on it and then type the exact name of the person you're referencing. that will put the link to their journal with their name.
