Nicely done Nim. I like the dynamic between your Spike and Angel - it touches on a lot of the subtext of S2 and some of the quiet (if not happy) acceptance we felt between them during StS. It feels like a relatioship these two would really have - in canon or outside of it.

And, I'm sure Cordy will have a few choice words - and right crosses - for Angelkins when he wakes up. Maybe Angel should reconsider and make sure Spike is around for her awakening!

I feel Angel will regret his decision to let Spike go. Ticked off, super-stong Cordy with no ability to go to Spago for lunch will be ... not pretty.

Great chapter as usual. I feel like Angel has lost his balance but who can blame him? he must have a big turmoil inside his heart and soul.
