Title: Blow a Kiss! Take a Bow!
Pairing: Jesse/Kurt.
Warnings: Angst, futurefic, a lot of references to 'Gypsy', a lot of Jesse being a heartless dick.
Summary: On dealing with failure.

You most definetley know how to write, these is so much emotion here and I'm loving the way you handle this sad and tragic relationship.

I think I'll focus more Puck/Kurt and Finn/Kurt than these two, but I'm sure I'll write something for them again because I agree that they could have an awesome dynamic, and the lack of fic upsets me.

Ow. Oh Jesus fucking ow.

This fic is so short in actual length and only shows snapshots of time, but it feels like it encapsulates years of broken dreams and abandoned potential. I assume you intended the callback to Rose's Turn to force the reader to remember Kurt's performance of that and the sheer possibility and force of talent that represented, and that might have been what absolutely broke my heart about this story. I mean, apart from the entirety of the fic, which would have broken my heart regardless. The scene with Rachel made me hurt for both of them, Rachel with her new nose (that little detail was as sad as nearly anything else that could have happened to her) and Kurt trying not to show that he's breaking.

Your humor fics have always made me giggle helplessly and marvel at your talent, but this one left me gasping at the bleakness of it and the beauty in your writing.
