well, for all who still remember me I was in L.A. the past week, fixing up things for moving on down there for a job. I got a few definites which is good, one is working with a makeup and fx studio which seems very cool. I'm hoping to be down there by this september at the latest, hopefully I'll be moving on now from this place. Also go to

Maybe I'll see you in LA. I'm coming out for Siggraph at the end of July/beginning of August.

And if things go as planned, I'll be moving there by the end of the year.

I'd love to know because there have been rumors here that they were intending to open a school out there but I know of nothing confirmed.

Hmmm... Did some research...

Seems they bought the Los Angeles Recording Workshop - or more like they bought the name and kept the owner on to run it - built a 35,000 square foot recording complex which more than doubled the number of recording studios they previously had, and equipped it with all the top notch equipment Full Sail is usually known for.

They also signed a partnership deal with the Los Angeles Film School a short walk East from there...

as there are some of the best drivers in the U.S.A. in L.A.. I am used to Orlando where u see accidents nearly every day. But the week I was in L.A. I did not see even one accident anywhere that I went, and I did quite a lot of driving. *raised eyebrow* interesting, no?

^_^ I did see morgan webb and adam sessler, G4 had a big booth out front w/ a gigantic Nintendo 8-bit controller which needed 2 people to use it. One person to move the character another person to push the buttons. Yes that big!! and they were playing the original Super Mario Bros. It was pretty cool, plus they did some live TV from there. Very cool. Played the new Zelda game for Gamecube and saw the PS3 and Xbox 360. Good stuff. Very happy with it. Unfortunately I learned after I left that Clive Barker was there doing a signing which I had no knowledge of until after the show :(
All in all a great time.
