I'm a little paranoid about them being out of character, but this was the best I can do until I'm able to read the novels myself. ^^; But I'm glad as long as you enjoyed it. <3

I don't think Dallas will get a clue until he's pwned by the entire cast, so I simply had to let Eve get a shot in. He should put a giant "Kick Me" sign on his back and just get it over with. XD I want him to smarten up soon and take good care of Eve for the rest of his life. <3

Though, if Luck starts dating Eve, there's an unbelievable potential of additional revenue for Narita in the form of a hilarious family-based sitcom. XD

I have absolutely nothing constructive to say (well, except for a few tense errors that you may not have noticed and which I'm far too lazy to actually specify) about this beyond expressing my joy.

Oh! And lastly, have I ever told you how much I adore Eve (and Luck which, I think, goes without saying anyway; I mean, come on)? I have? You write her very, very well; she comes off here as a character with wonderful blends of strengths and vulnerabilities, both of which serves as a fitting contrast and balance to Luck's personality. Needless to say, this fanfic rocks, and I might just offer you my second born child (the first born one is already promised to someone else, alas) if you continue to spoil us with so much shinies. XXD

Haha, while I was writing this, I was all, "Damn tenses can just go to hell" because I was so tired and just wanted to hurry up and finish it. XD I haven't had the time to skim through it since, but I'll probably catch them right away and proceed to *facepalm* at all the stupid errors. XD

I was wondering why, out of the entire cast of main characters in the anime, why Eve was the only one lacking a dark side. I was so happy to read that she actually attempted to kill someone in the novel that I really wanted to build on it, and I'm glad I managed to do it well enough to secure the possibility of a fanbaby. Don't worry--I'll raise it like Saint-Germain raises Carole, and it shall one day become the most impressive human being the world has ever known. <3 ...XD

I almost forgot how old she was over the course of the fic. But, then again, I've known many precocious kids, so my sense of age is a little warped.

How sad that now I'm wondering about Dallas more than these two--no, on second thought, that's good. You managed such a good job with these two I'm not even worried about them anymore.

According to spoilers I've come across since, if this fic follows canon, Dallas won't be there by the time Eve returns to her mansion. O-O It seems that he still has plenty of ass-kickings coming his way before the rest of the cast leaves him in peace. I don't think he'll ever leave the house again by the time he'd reunited with Eve for good. XD

Hmm, when I come back to do revisions, I'll be sure to add a little more reference to Eve's youth. A big part of my intentions with this fic was promoting Luck's anxiety due to her age, after all. I don't know how old she is, exactly, but 15/16 seems reasonable, and Luck is probably about 20. It's not that big of a difference considering the time period (my grandparents were born ten years apart) but I think it's something he would worry about. He's surrounded by people extremely likely to rib him about robbing the cradle, after all. XD

Okay, I'm lightyears late, but I love this fic. I love ALL of your Baccano! fics, actually, but THIS FIC... *incoherent spazzing* Let's just say it made this Luck/Eve shipper very VERY HAPPY =) The characterization is spot on, the dialogue is in-character and bursting with romantic tension, and the kiss is, just, everything I could ever want and more. I love how Eve sees right through his attempt to scare her away, and Luck is like "dammit, not as planned"

In short, very very well-written!! *goes off to fangirl some more*
