I have somehow blown through my tax refund and will soon have overdraft charges to contend with. How in the hell did I do that? I don't know what my problem is. I mean, a large part of my JOB is keeping track of money, why can't I do it for myself

Sallie Mae withdrew a payment before it should have, so I got hit with an overdraft fee recently. Stupid cash tracking things... aargh!

I certainly hope you call and yell at them. I stopped all my automatic payments because of them doing that crap. I had set one of my credit cards for an automatic payment in case I forgot... they pulled it two days early, before I moved the funds from savings. I called and chewed them out but good.
