1. Donna is nothing more or less than an ordinary human - the most important thing in creation (©Nine)
2. That Donna's dignity is respected, that she gets a good, substantial role in the story, and that she isn't a dea ex machina or doesn't sacrifice herself for the Doctor.
3. That Ten actually regenerates. Into anyone other than James Nesbitt. And stays regenerated.
4. No saviour imagery. The Doctor was never a messiah before, and to have this incarnation, the most self-centered and hypocritical of them all, so elevated is repugnant.
5. That Rose and Ten in no way, shape, or form get a happily ever after ending. It's just too much fanservice. There are other reasons, but that's the greatest of them all.
6. That it's actually a story with a story and not just an endless string of set-pieces.
Sigh.
The sad thing is, I don't think there's a hope in hell of even one of those being answered.
