is where we spent Monday and Tuesday.  There was Red River Revel - an annual art and music festival. Music is not all jazz as you might expect in Louisiana: it varies from classical ballet and opera to rock to local genres of cajun or zydeco.

that's my hometown. well, it is where I was born. I saw so many "classic" films in the Shreveport as a kid. back to the future, karate kid, and (my favorite) the neverending story.

I always LOVED "Back to the Future" and "The Neverending story" is one of my favorite books. I haven't seen the movie, though - I'm not a big movie watcher.
