Getting up early on Sunday, Wilson had spent the morning puttering around with simple household chores such as laundry and some grocery shopping and he'd taken down the pastries Phale had left for his next class to dethaw. Showering and changing as morning gave way to afternoon, Wilson finished up the last of his laundry -amazing how shorter this chore was when you did laundry for one- and then set out for the TARDIS.

Humming softly under his breath the young doctor made his way across the park, surprised to find it such a nice day, relatively speaking. He knew where the blue police box was, having seen it a couple of times in his strolls around the park and made his way there with little difficulty.

It still felt a little...awe inspiring, given what he knew about the TARDIS when he lifted his hand and knocked on the door.

The Doctor opened the door and smiled. "Dr. Wilson. Glad you could join us. If you'd care to step in, I promise it will be less crampt than appearances would dictate."

Wilson looked a bit leary but also very curious as he carefully stepped over the threashhold.

"I had heard, you understand...about the interior but always had to sort of wonder as well. Thank you, again for the invitation." Wilson smiled and held up a bag of gingersnaps he'd brought along.

"I brought some homemade gingersnaps. Aziraphale left enough baked goods behind to feed an army."

"Gingersnaps, fantastic," the Doctor said, gesturing towards the table. "You'll find we don't have quite an army here, and I'm not even sure if Daisy or Jane will be joining us today."

Daisy had been getting her "beauty sleep" and then executing a very long beauty routine, and thus did not emerge from her room in the TARDIS until the afternoon.

"Goodness, what's all this?"

"Tea," the Doctor said. "As in proper English. We have a guest, today."

"Is it the Queen?" Daisy asked, excited. "Because I have always wanted to meet her! Even if she is sort of old and creepy looking, now."

"Erm, no," the Doctor said. "Doctor Wilson from the clinic, actually. Not the Queen. Unless he's been hiding a secret from us all, all this time. Which is... doubtful."

Jane wandered into the console room yawning and stretching.

"Mornin'"

"Hello, Jane," the Doctor said. "Care to have tea with us all?"

Oh tea... Tea was like water... except it had stuff in it...

Ahhhh, hell.

"Sure. What's the occasion?"

"Just hoping to cheer up Dr. Wilson," the Doctor said. "I'd be honored if you'd join us."

Wherein all four have gathered, despite the seemingly impossible chronology of the above comments...

The Doctor smiled as he sat at the table. "I hope everyone finds things to their satisfaction."

Daisy selected a cucumber sandwich. "Delightful, Doctor. Thank you."

Jane took a tea sandwich herself.

What happened to the crusts.

"Very fancy."

Wilson reached for a sandwich as well, having a bit of a fondness for them after two years of living with Aziraphale's influence.

"Indeed, everything looks wonderful." Wilson smiled to Daisy and Jane. "Doubly so that you both were also able to join us."
