A TARDIS Kitchen, Saturday Afternoon

Oct 14, 2006 12:49

The Doctor had baked a cake. A pineapple upside-down cake, to be exact.

Why?

Because he's the Doctor. This is what he does.

The smell was probably wafting down the corridors.

[ooc: Locked to TARDIS residents, please.]

Jane doesn't know what the fuck a pineapple is, but the cake smells goooooooo-oood.

She followed her noes to the kitchen.

"Well looky here."

"Oh, hello Jane," the Doctor said. "The cake'll be ready in a minute. Just let it do a little cooling down, that's all."

"I didn't know you were so domestic Doc."

"Required for survival and sanity," the Doctor said. "You try getting a warrior of the Sevateem to bake you a pie. It's not worth all that effort, and it turns out better if you do it yourself. Ergo, I bake." He grinned.

Daisy does know what a pineapple is.

And she enjoys baked goods. When she's not trying to watch her figure, at least.

"You never cease to surprise, do you, Doctor."

"What, baking is that much of a surprise, is it? I've baked plenty of times, me," he said. "Hello Daisy."

"Is there a special occasion? Or did you just have a craving for . . ." she sniffed delicately. "Pineapple?"

"Makes a good change for bananas," the Doctor said. "As for special occasion... nope, not really. Though I'm sure today is special for someone. Every day is special to someone, really. On the whole, from a cosmic view and all that."
