HITT - Because it's Love...

Well... I should hate this guy just by looks. I should hate this mini album just for the title. But somehow... I've listened to each song for at least four times and can't stop smiling. It's probably the only not-a-single recorded in this bloody year I've really liked since the beginning.

Highlighting songs:

1. Désolé - good opening. Typical upbeat rock song with fiiine bass lines. With really nice surprise: almost perfectly well spelled désolée. Maybe not a song to remember, but really good to listen just to cheer up.

2. Sexy Galaxy - oh. maybe too much disco... The beginning reminded me of Morrie's Paradox, so I kept listening. And what's later? More great bass lines! If you try to listen to it, please put your earphones on, the sound effects will be really cool. More and more strange effects in each part, that lead to almost opera metal-like guitar solo. Gets boring in some parts, but overall rather interesting song.

3. LaLiLaLuLaLoLa - my favourite, definitely. Spanish style guitar line lead us to... exactly the same motive played on bass! That solely makes me love this track. And I guess HITT's vocals also sound as good as possible, he sings in different styles in different parts of the song, even shouts a bit, and never loses the key (like many VK vocalists do).

4. REMEMBER - one of the weakest parts of the album. One must be really talented to sing a ballad that won't be boring or too sweet. HITT almost succeeded, but it's only because of his bass skills. And, well, he could become an enka singer, if he improved a bit in hitting higher notes (for me he could simply keep to the lower parts of his range mostly)

5. I'm crazy for you - a typical mid 2000's VK song, but I can't stop smiling while listening to it. Well, it has everything a song like that should, with addition of a surprise jazzy piano+bass part that makes the song stand out from the hundreds of others. Still not enough to make it a hit, but well...

6. Ruriiro no Sora - look above and read the part about ballads again. This is the worse one. The album could have ended so much better.

Ahhh... and now I have to download the rest of HITT's discography to find out if he's really that listenable or it was just a happy accident in recording studio.
