Oh hun. Don't be annoyed. While it seems to be ignorant at times, I'm sure it's never meant to do any harm. Just read over it like it's some birthday-greeting for someone else :)

Aw, I know. I know people mean well, which is why I return their greeting and smile, and, ya know, haven't killed anyone. They say it with so much happiness. I just get more and more annoyed every year. It is a birthday greeting for someone else, who is not at all related to me.

I do have a bad conscience about it, rest assured. But I'm sure you bear with me these days :)

And I do miss you, too. The whole insane, intelligent, perfect, lovable (insert more) package.

I have read one entry over at your journal and haven't found the words to reply to it yet - but while I feel your pain, all I can say right now is: their loss. If I were a guy, I'd take you any time (wait. that sounds kinda.. dirty... heh).
That doesn't help, nor are the words strong enough, but you know... yeah.

Did I say I love you? And I'll always be there to warm you, no matter how cold ;)
