It's the end of the semester for everyone here in Portland, and I have a lot of friends graduation and moving away. Sucks. Meh. Bummer I hate when things change. Anyways. I'm also amazed at how much my life has changed in a year. Freaking nuts.

I hate change, well except when Obama talks about change because he's so dreamy... *dreamy sigh* but anyways, cheer up Kevin, you still got your cool southern California friends down here.

I know, but the same thing happened there, we graduated and people moved away. Somehow I ended up in Portland and the vicious cycle is continuing here. Blah!

If you were near me my friend I would give you a hug- tho my hugs suck but it's the thought that counts right? Miss ya buddy.

I could sure use a hug. Hugs are something people forget about but they are so useful, and I don't get enough of them anymore... :( When I save up a decent amount of time off I'm going to come back to CA for awhile.

I know I thought I'd change things up! Plus no one up in Portland knows I have it so I can talk about things and not have to worry about the consequences! AMY HOW ARE YOU?!!

XDD

Well I am doing pretty well! I am working at a retirement home as an activities director and part-time caregiver. With the economy the way it is I had a hard time finding a job but now I feel a bit better.
So that's about it!

How are you??

I know what you mean about it being a bad time. I have a lot of friends who are graduating/graduated that are struggling to find a job. But good to hear you found something.

I've been better. I'm just working at Nike. I'm up and down on whether I really enjoy working here. I think that is just how it is with a job. I love the money, but I hate working. Hopefully I'll move into something I really enjoy. Right now what I'm doing isn't super exciting. It is rather dull. I've realized that I don't want to program for the rest of my life, so I'm hoping I can start studying again for the GMAT and eventually (1-2 years) get an MBA. Then I can either manage or do something else. That is my plan anyways. Other than that I try to has fun as much as possible by hanging out with whomever wants to hang out. I"m also working on a website with a couple guys I graduated with. I'm also waiting for nicer weather here in Portland. It has been pretty crappy for the last couple days.

But yeah that's about it.

Maybe you have a touch of Seasonal Affective Disorder and it'll get better when the weather gets consistently better. Or maybe you should just move to LA. Not that that would solve a lot of problems probably... but at least you'd be around an awesome group of people.

Lol. I got a lot more than a touch of depression this season, but I don't believe that it was linked to SAD. Who knows though the snow did really get me down. Stupid freaking snow. But that's behind us now.

But yes leaving in or around the LA region would be awesome. What kills me though is that two weekends ago I was in Nor Cal and the tax was so high. They told me that all of CA's sales tax was super high now. Bummer. I like Oregon for that reason. Although if I was rich it wouldn't matter. But back to the matter at hand. So many cool people down in CA. I need all my friends from Portland and California to move to one area then life would rock.

Don't worry, if Fitz has his way then we won't have to pay taxes once our world domination plan goes into affect.
