I'm boxing up the boys stuff up today (books, sports equipment, memorabilia that they didn't want to take when they moved out). It's a downer, but once it's done it's done - so I persevere.
And at least the sun is shining and the birds are cirping.
It's sad to have an empty nest, but it's your nest to do with what you want now, no more smelly teenagers cramping your style. Keep positive babe. {hug}
Nice to see you too, I hope you have a fantastic time in Vancouver!
You know, the NHS doesn't know what to with itself unless it's redesigning everything. I have no idea what is going to happen, but I do know that work isn't everything so after a couple of weeks of worry I'm pretty philosophical right now.
As for sparkage, even if nothing happens it was lovely to have even a little spark. ;-)
Work, work and - oh yeah - more work! That is, of course, depending on the fact that I actually get a job *glares at recruitment agencies all across Bournemouth*
I really need the money, not just to pay off my overdraft and whatnot, but if I'm going to be able to afford to go to the Battlestar convention in August (that I've already bought my ticket to - yikes!) and still be able to, you know, eat and the like... Aargh!
I hope you have a more fun-planned summer than I seem to!
Hi Nin!!! I wish you were coming to Vancouver too, but your alternate plans sound wonderful. We'll raise a glass in your honour..maybe a couple of glasses, lol. It's going to be a smaller group than Toronto, but it will still be lots of fun..I hope. Putting on the organizing tiara is a tad stressful. Can't wait to see you next September!

Didn't they just redesign your service not too long ago? That must be so frustrating. Good luck on that front as well.
Nice to see you Nin and I hope you have a good day too!!
