Today is my Grannymom's 84th birthday. And today she had a stroke and is in the hospital and now is probably going to die. I just got off the phone with my Daddy and she'll either improve and be paralyzed - which she would hate - or she will die. Either way, I should be home with her, I shouldn't be here

oh jenni i'm sorry. *huge huggz* i know it's not the same, but it's all i can do for now. no one plans these things hon. maybe you can find a way to come back for a day. i think you'd feel a lot better if you did. but if not, don't beat yourself up over it. it's not your fault. i really hope she makes it.
