Cold nights
Strange that I should be thinking on the party again. Perhaps I should pin down L. to see about the arrangements. If it were up to me, it may consist of trail rations and a series of groups all intermingling.
Funny that I should meet my match in a friend. Both with the same problem, just in different arenas. But we will see what tomorrow holds. -
A small breather
It is strange the things we find ourselves discussing over dinner. Topics from war to love, but never the two really meet. Or is it that they meet all too easily. Either way, a double date is at least going to prove to be a bit disconcerting.

Journeys
It is interesting how we look up and find ourselves on one path or another. Whether to the effects of the war or other endeavors, it is still a journey in its own right. Not that I would begrudge anyone such a trip.
