Not too bad, really. Just three inches of water in the basement. Thank doG most of the tools, wood, laundry, etc. are all off the ground. Unfortunately, our sump pump, which we haven't had occasion to use in the past eight years, has no float switch. Our chichi private school is closed 'cause there is no way for 80% of the students to get to it! All of Route 7 is closed from Westport to Rte 84. Wilton Road East is closed, so no one from Wilton can get over here. Ridgebury road is closed at the top half and people are basically trapped on their own roads, with no way out. There are mudslides up the road to the school.

*I* could get there, but I think Peter would be one of three kids (with no teachers) in his classroom today.

Our public schools are closed this week for spring break, so that was a lucky save for them. I'm sure they would've closed, though. We got nailed because of the Norwalk River being right here.
