"Clear," Mortimer said, putting his head out from the corner."
"Dad, can we just act normally?" Cassandra sighed.
"It's your mother's birthday. We want it to be a surprise, don't we?"
They quietly sneaked to the bed.
"Happy birthday!" Mortimer shouted. Bella immidately woke up, breathing heavily.
"What... Oh!" she saw her family gathered around her bed. "Is it the ninth of September already?"
"Indeed!" Mortimer took a small box with a green ribbon from the desk. "It's for you, love."
"Yeah, happy birthday, Mom," Cassandra added.
Bella got up and hugged her daughter.
"Thank you, sweetheart."
Then she turned to Alexander.
"Hey, my lovley boy."
"Mommy!" he giggled, wrapping his little arms around her neck.
"Yes..." she smiled. "Cassie, can you take him and dress him up please?"
When Cassandra took Alexander upstairs, Mortimer could finally speak to his wife one in one.
"You look sexy even in pajamas," he said.
"You're behaving like a sixteen-years-old," Bella crossed her arms.
"But you look sexy!" he stated, kissing her hand.
"I think I'm gonna blush."
"You're pretty when you're blushing."
She rolled her eyes.
"Can I just kiss you already?"
Author Notes:
I knooooow Bella's b-day was on Thursday but I had a pretty crappy week so I couldn't play much. Also, my graphic card reminds me of it's existence almost every day by freezing the screen, so... you know.
